Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026
This policy explains what this website collects about you, why, who else sees it, and what you can ask me to do about it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived, and it describes what the site actually does rather than every eventuality.
Who is responsible
Hussnan Nadir, trading as Hussnan Strategic Advisory, is the data controller for information collected through this website. The practice is based in London and operates as a sole trader.
Contact: hello@hussnan.com. A postal address is available on request.
What is collected, and why
When you contact me or request something
The site has several forms: the contact form, the form that sends you a tool summary, and the two assessments. Between them they ask for your name, email address, and sometimes your phone number, your company and your role. The assessments also record your answers and the resulting score.
This is used to reply to you, to send you what you asked for, and to keep a record of the enquiry so that a conversation started today makes sense in three months. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have approached a consultancy and it is reasonable to expect a reply and a record of it. Where an assessment asks you to tick a consent box, that consent is the basis for the follow-up it describes.
When you use the appraisal tools
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are also recorded so that I can see which tools are used and what people are trying to model. That record contains the numbers themselves, the postcode if you entered one, the result, the country your connection is in, and a random identifier stored in your browser that links your own runs together.
It does not contain your name, your email address, your IP address, or anything else that identifies you, unless you separately give those on a form. A postcode of a property you are appraising is not your address. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: understanding how the tools are used is what allows them to be improved and kept free.
If you want that link broken, clear your browser storage for this site. A new identifier is created and nothing connects it to the old one.
When you buy something
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's systems and never reach this website or me. I receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, and the email address you used. The lawful basis is performance of a contract.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and which are not. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them on the banner shown when you first arrive. Before you choose, and if you decline, Google receives anonymous signals with no cookies and no identifiers. You can change your mind by clearing this site's storage in your browser.
Who else sees it
I do not sell your data, and I do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is handled by the following services, each of which processes it on my instructions.
| Service | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify | Hosts the site, receives form submissions, runs its functions | Everything submitted through a form, and tool run records |
| Pipedrive | My client records | Your name, email, phone and what you enquired about |
| Stripe | Takes payments | Your card details and email, directly from you |
| Resend | Sends the emails the site generates | Your email address and the content of that email |
| Google Analytics | Tells me which pages are read | Pages viewed and general location, only with cookies if you accept |
| Anthropic | Reads planning documents you upload to the intelligent appraisal | The documents themselves, for as long as it takes to analyse them |
The tools also query public data sources to answer specific questions: postcode lookups, published Article 4 directions, energy performance records and Land Registry sold prices. Those requests carry the postcode or address being looked up, and nothing about you.
Where it goes
Some of these providers are based outside the United Kingdom, principally in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves the UK it is protected by the standard safeguards those providers have in place, such as the UK addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long it is kept
Enquiries and client records are kept for as long as there is a live or plausible working relationship, and then for six years afterwards, which is the period during which a question about the work could still arise. Tool run records are kept for two years. Analytics data is kept for fourteen months. Anything you ask me to delete is deleted, subject to anything I am separately required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, ask me to stop using it for a particular purpose, or object to it being used at all. There is no charge and I will respond within one month. Email hello@hussnan.com.
If you are not satisfied with how I handle that, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. I would rather you came to me first, but it is your right either way.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be flagged on the site rather than made quietly.
